So sense I am the builder and my group is not done I had to work a lot today. The main thing that I was doing today was bending the grow bed and the fish tank wall into the shape of an octagon. In the beginning of the day I had one bend done left and I completed that fairly easily. Another thing that I did was finish all of the big bends for the fish tank and now I am just working on little tweaks with degrees. I had one thing that went really wrong and so what happened was that the already cracked plexiglass for the grow bed got mocked down and it completely broke. So how I fixed it was by getting the sixteen plexiglass glue and the gluing it back together

In aquaponics I’ve been having a hard time trying to figure out what to put out in front of the judges, and present for the “shark tank”, but then someone said “”like a science fair project” when you were explaining what we were doing today to the contractors and thats when I under stood. I have set up the presentation board like you would for a science fair, then modified it so it would relate to our topic. This was very helpful because I’ve done science fairs before and been very successful with them and now everything is falling together nice neat and quick. So what I accomplished friday was I set up the outline for the board and sort of assigned who needs to write what, because the writing part is actually the sales persons job. So Josh wrote the process on how he made the tank, on his free time, Bobby wrote the materials list, Reyn wrote the challenges of the project, and I wrote the purpose of the tank. I left the conclusion for last since we still aren’t done with the project yet. I also took photos of the tank while it was being built. I did not start the video yet because I want the tank to be done and have it in front of the speaker so it will kind of be like an infomercial but the rest will be a slide show of the pictures which we took, on top of that I wrote the script for the video so as soon as the tank is done I can start filming.

Today the builder and the architect had a conundrum. While preparing the work table our salesman underestimated the length of the heating table and accidentally knocked out already chipped piece of plexiglass off, thus completely breaking the piece into two different pieces. After we all got over the shock we decided to glue it back together with the 16 glue and let it dry while they bent the other piece. The documentarian, salesman, and I worked on the presentation for the sharks preparing demonstrations, preparing for question by answer some that we had thought up that they might ask. We got these question by asking a random person (Bradley) about our aquaponics kit and asked if he had any questions.

Today, I worked on many things. I went to weinberg with ethan and we worked on possible questions and answers, we had to think creatively of possible things we would have to be asked, and possible answers to those questions. We thought of questions that we would’ve had been stumped on. It was a little hard at first, however, then we started on working harder, and harder, and we started to think of more unique questions. I think we are now more prepared for the question and answer portion. I think that when tough questions comes, some that others teams can’t we will do good.
